The Releasing The Strong Man Seminar

 

      Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods unless he first binds up the
 strong man? Then he will plunder his house (Matthew 12:29, NKJV).

 

 

 

PURPOSE

To examine, confront and equip willing Black American men to overcome the mental and emotional legacies of slavery and the continuing experience of racism.



OBJECTIVES

  1. To examine the Black American historical experience.
  2. To expose the major mental and emotional legacies of sla- very and racism that bind up many Black American men.
  3. To confront the major mental and emotional legacies of sla- very and racism with the Word of God.
  4. To lead willing seminar participants to seek personal deliver- ance, healing and renewal through faith in Jesus Christ and the power of His Word!
  5. To equip willing seminar participants with information needed to walk in continuing freedom and victory over the mental and emotional legacies of slavery and racism.

 

 

 

 

 

 

GOAL

To have each male attending the entire seminar leave free from at least one tie binding mental and emotional legacy of slavery and racism.

 

 

 

 

DESCRIPTION

The seminar is a creative mix of audio and visual presentations, group interac- tion and Spirit-led teaching. The five sessions are each designed to be one and one half to two hours depending on the participation of the men.

The Word of God is brought to bear on the twelve major mental and emotional legacies

4. Confronting The Mental And Emotional Legacies Of Slavery And Racism
